commercial: MID-AUTUMN BENTO GIFT BOX for wishful
delicately wrapped in Japanese printed fabric, reveals Wishful’s mid-autumn bento box that hosts 4 mooncakes of different flavours, lovingly handmade by their carefully selected home bakers without the use of preservatives.
it was so fun styling and putting all the elements together for this shoot. if you’re looking for a unique and beautiful mooncake set, this should be your first pick!

maternity: valerie
The shoot took place on a beautiful afternoon and it was so lovely to finally meet Valerie and her husband in person after communicating over emails and texts! So much excitement and joy filled the air as they prepare themselves for the arrival of their baby girl.
wedding: christy + raymon | tanarimba, janda baik
shot this beautiful wedding held at Tanarimba, Janda Baik last year. loved how intimate and genuine the wedding was. the couple, Christy and Raymon, are avid fans of escape rooms and they actually planned an escape room game for their guests! the winning table goes home with prizes from the couple. how fun!!
the couple and their guests danced the night away with the grooviest music and moves! it was such a refreshing experience seeing the young and the old dancing together to celebrate the couple on their special day.
loved everything about the wedding, and i’m so honored to be able to capture moments that will forever be etched in the couple’s heart.

family: kumi + family
i had such a fun and amazing time capturing these precious moments for kumi and her family. what’s crazy was that kumi actually found me via hashtag search on Instagram! i’m so thankful i inserted those hashtags on my photos, because if i hadn’t done so i wouldn’t have met this beautiful family.
their home is located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, and the view from their unit (and pool) is simply breathtaking. hope you enjoy the photos as much as i did capturing them!
maternity: sholpan + family
this is a special one because it was my first time having a fur friend in a maternity shoot! loved seeing how excited he was, jumping and running around the house as we were shooting. perhaps he, too, knows there will be a new addition to the family soon? :) it was a precious sight.
loved this relaxing and intimate shoot with this beautiful couple. nothing too posey, not much directing required – it’s really just them in their element; being themselves and enjoying each other’s company, savouring every moment before the lil’ one arrives. (but as i type this, the lil’ one is now 1 month old! how time fliesss. can’t wait to meet him in person!).
enjoy.
Breakfast with Cher
We've been planning for weeks, and it finally happened!
We woke up unusually early on a Saturday morning, gave up our beauty sleep, and made our way to Damansara Heights to indulge ourselves in the delicious patisseries of Huckleberry Food & Fare. We arrived early enough to get ourselves a seat inside. Just a a few minutes after we sat down, more and more people came flooding in. No kidding! This place serves quality pastries. It's really no surprise to see a crowd on an early Saturday morning.
And so we just chilled, enjoyed our breakfast while talking about almost anything we could think of. It's so good to be able to catch up with each other after so long. We do keep in touch virtually, but nothing beats meeting the person in real life and having a decent conversation face-to-face.
3 years of friendship and counting! I'm so blessed to call her my friend.
After breakfast we made our way to Publika and we stumbled across a photography exhibition! I love art/photo exhibitions. We spent almost an hour just walking around the space, staring at the photos, reading the captions, and repeat. It's amazing how one photo can ignite so much emotions within you. And it's even more amazing how that one same photo can bring about such different meanings and emotions to different people.
I guess that's the beauty of art.
Here are some photos i snapped throughout the day.
So where next, Cher? :)

#gembiragembiragembira
This post is long overdue and i sincerely apologise for the lack of updates here. I've just been around, here and there, doing different stuff and i'm still trynna get into the discipline of updating this space consistently. So yes, please bear with my inconsistency :')
This happened 2 Saturdays ago when a bunch of us just decided to get together on a Saturday morning to chill and hangout with each other - just because. I really treasured every single moment with them because this bunch is not exactly the free-iest of them all. They're busy, if not some of the busiest and productive young peeps i know.
We had breakfast, went to 1 Utama for batting, went crazy in a toy shop (especially Frieda and Germaine), drove over to Empire Damansara for coffee, celebrated Ju En's birthday, took lots of photos, checked out random abandoned shop lots, climbed on roofs (only Ju En did that), snapped lots of snaps on SnapChat and we created a new hashtag:
#gembiragembiragembira
It was indeed a very gembira (happy) day. I'm so honoured to be their friend, to be able to journey life with them, see each other grow up and grow old.
Love you guys! All of you!
